There are no fractions or rounding for yardage. 79 yards rushing gets 7
points.
Defensive touchdowns can only be scored when a specialty unit or a defensive
unit scores. A fumble recovery by the offense does not count as special
teams, nor do faked punts or faked field goals. To further clarify this
point, if a defense intercepts a pass and on the return, a player who lined
up on offense strips the player and proceeds to score, both teams may be
charged with a turnover, but I will not give you a defensive touchdown, since
the offense was still on the field.
In this case the offensive player would get credit for the
touchdown. This is the Robert Meachem rule.
Finally a position player does not get credit for special teams play.
For example, if you play Wes Welker at WR, you do not get yardage points or
touchdown points for a 63-yard punt return.
