Fantasy Football Playoff Pool
“Multiplier” |
|
This
pool is similar to the Hold em pool both in the starting lineup and the
scoring format. However after the
first week, you change your lineup to add players that are still alive with a
multiplier applied to every player that stays in your lineup for more than
one week. |
|
Website |
This
year, I will continue to use the website show below. Let me know if you have any suggestions for
improvements. With my limited website
building skills, I will try to accommodate.
I will use this site for lineup entry, scoring updates, and all other
communications. |

|
Starting Roster |
To
play, simply submit a lineup before the playoffs begin. The lineup must consist of 12 players (2
QB, 3 RB, 4 WR, 1 K, and 2 DEF). The
catch is that each starting lineup may have only one player from each of the
12 playoff teams. |
|
All starting lineups
must be submitted to the Commissioner before the first playoff game starts
(3:30 PM CST Saturday). |
|
Tiebreaker Players |
In
addition to the original lineup, three extra players from any team will be
used for tiebreakers. The three
players can play ANY position and can be from the same team. However, the tiebreaker players CANNOT be
part of your original starting twelve.
The tiebreaker players will get the multiplier, but we will not change
these players after the first week. |
|
Multiplier Rules |
Beginning with the
second playoff week you are allowed to change your lineup. You may change as many players as you like. |
|
The
multiplier is the number of weeks the player has been in your lineup times
the number of fantasy points scored that week. For example, if you start Alex Smith in
week 1 and leave him in your lineup throughout the playoffs, you will get
double points in week two, triple points in week three and quadruple points
when Alex Smith leads Kansas City to the Superbowl title. |
|
Fees and Prize Money |
Each
team will pay an entry fee of $10. In
order to cover postage and other minor costs, I will take one free
entry. Please pay early so I can pay
the winners in a timely manner. |
|
Prize
money will be distributed based on the number of entrants. If there is a tie for one of the prizes,
the cumulative score of the three tiebreaker players will be used to decide a
winner. If it is still tied after the
extra players, the prize will be divided equally among those teams. |
