PGA Championship:  Rory McIlroy runs away with a major title for the second time in his short career.

The second half title goes to Rich, who scored 22 points this week, as he picked the winner for the fourth time in the last 5 weeks.   Souptown scored 14 points to hold onto second over Ben.

For the full season, Souptown wins by 13 points.  With 27 points this week, I edged Rich by 3 points for second place on the year.

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to everyone for playing.  I hope everyone enjoyed the season.  Now it's time to start thinking football.

WGC- Bridgestone:  After leading most of the tourney, Jim Furyk melted down for the second time this summer in big time events.   Ben Johnshoy put up 30 points with all five picks in the top 25, including 1st and 2nd.

Looks like Souptown has wrapped up the full season as he sits 24 points out front.  Rich and Souptown are tied for the second half with one week to go and Rich leads me by 2 in the full season standings.  With Ben lurking in both the session and the full season.  A few others are 20 or more points back and need a big time 30+ points week to have any hope.

Good luck,

Mack

RBC Canadian: Rich continues his great second half run with another 24 point week.  Ben took second with 21 points.

Rich now leads the second half standings and sits 4 points out of second for the full season standings.

FYI- This week is the no-cut WGC-Bridgestone.  If your guy hits his opening tee shot, you get two points, even if he WD's before the tourney ends.

British Open: Rich and Ben shared high score this week with 25 points. Kevin S totaled 21 points for third.

With three weeks left, Rich has now moved into second place in the second half standings and is closing for second overall.  Souptown continues to both the full season and the second half.

Greenbrier:  I won the week with 13 points as Webb Simpson cost several people some good points with his terrible back nine.

Mark, Bryan and Justin also crack double digits this week.

AT&T National: Tiger wins again and so does Souptown.  Souptown wins this week with 20 points.  If Adam Scott could have got his butt out of bed on Thursday, maybe I would have done better than second with 19 points.

Next week is the Greenbrier.  Get your picks in early and have a Happy Fourth of July.

Travelers:  Souptown and Kevin S win the week with 21 points.  Souptown continues to dominate the second half and the full season races.  AT&T National is the week.

US Open:  'If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.'  This week Jerry started the same five guys as Souptown and they both tied for this week's high score of 23 points.  Kevin H scored 21, and several others finished in the teens.

Souptown now has a big lead for the full season and the second half.  Who's going to catch him at the wire this time?  Travelers is this week.  Good luck.

The Memorial by Jack: Tiger Woods continues his career revival by winning Jack's tourney and tying Jack's carreer mark of 73 PGA Tour wins.  Tiger, who went over two years without a PGA Tour win, now sits at number 4 in the world rankings.

As for our pool, Kevin S won the week with 20 points and Bryan took second with 15 points.  In the full season standings, I passed Souptown by 2 points and Andy finished 5 points behind Souptown for third.

Next week is the St Jude, which begins the second half.  So Jerry can now start trying again.  Good luck everyone.

HP Byron Nelson: Mark wins the week with 17points, followed by Andy's 16 points.

After 8 weeks, Souptown continues to lead, but Andy and I are narrowing the gap.  Jerry Lhotka has moved into dead last and looks to lock it up in the next two weeks as he saves players for the second half.

THE PLAYERS: Kevin won the week, lead by Ben Curtis.  Souptown continues to run clear of the pack with 2-6th place seperated by 6 points.  Jerry posted the first zero of the year as many big names (and some no-names) failed to make the cut.

The Shell Houston open kicks off our pool, and it starts tomorrow.  I've added a list of Golfers for 2012.  As always, this is not a complete list and you are welcome to use players not listed.  Also, just because he is listed on my list of golfers, there is no guarantee he is playing in the current week's tournament.  Be sure to check the field before submiting your players.
